I am currently working on my Master's Degree in China and would like to apply for CAS-TWAS Felllowhip. Can I get reimbursement for my international travel?
No. Applicants who stay in China during their application process will not be provided international travel support.
Can I send my application package directly to the Fellowship Office?
Please Do NOT send your application package directly to the Fellowship Office.
Can I contact two host supervisor simultaneously?
One applicant can only submit one application package to the Fellowship Office. Once the Fellowship Office received two application package of the same applicant, the applicant must annul one of the two applications.
Are there any other scholarships to support international students for their Master or PhD study in UCAS/USTC?
International students may apply for Chinese Government Scholarship, or UCAS/USTC Scholarship. The fundings are categorized into full scholarships and partial scholarships. Full scholarships cover tuition wavier, accommodation, monthly stipend, etc. while partial scholarships cover some of them. Can I simultaneously apply for CAS-TWAS President's Fellowship, Chinese Government Scholarship and/or UCAS/USTC Scholarship?
Yes. The deadlines of CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship, Chinese Government Scholarship and UCAS/USTC Scholarship are 31 March, 1st April, and 31 May, 2015, respectively. The awardee lists of these scholarship may be determined in April, June, and July, 2015, respectively. For details, please contact the Sub-Office in UCAS/USTC.
